2024 Slammers Schedule

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - The Oakton Slammers have released their 2024 season schedule. It features 10 regular season games against 8 league opponents.

The league invited two new teams this season: Dirty Mike and the Boys and Slug N' Chug. However, it is yet to be seen if these teams were already in the league last year and underwent a rebrand, like Foul, No Catch did last season.

Opening Day will feature a game against league newcomer Slug N' Chug. The Slammers have not fared well in the previous three Opening Days, and look to begin the year above .500 for the first time in the franchise's history. The month of May wraps up with games against another new foe, Dirty Mike and the Boys, and WTP, which returns after two years in a different league. The Slammers' only game against WTP was a close 11-8 loss in a game that had the largest crowd in league history.

The month of June will see 5 Slammers games against familiar opponents Foul, No Catch, the team's archrival Hammerhogs, Fatletes, and American Legion Post 208 Rowdies.

The regular season will conclude in July with a game at WTP sandwiched between two games against Cortland's Garage. The playoffs will follow in early August, with seeding determined by regular season record.
