Slammers Sign Eric Levin to 1-Year Deal

THE OAKTON SLAMMERS BRING IN ERIC LEVIN ON MAJOR LEAGUE DEAL

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Free agent Eric Levin has agreed to terms with the Oakton Slammers on a 1-year, $0 million deal. Under the terms of the deal, there is a mutual option for the 2025 season. He will wear #18 for the Slammers this year.

Levin was a minor league journeyman last season, but did play 2 games in the Slammers organization. In those two games, he hit .500 (3-6), including a double.

"He showed a lot of promise in those two games. We felt his performance warranted a contract, and we are happy we landed him," General Manager Zach Wulbert stated during the press conference.

"He has some pop in his bat and speed on the basepaths and in the field. Those are elements that have been missing on our team," Mike Leahy, the team's Assistant GM, added.

Levin will help shore up an outfield in need of depth, playing center field for the team. He will wear #18 this year. The Slammers' active roster now stands at 13 players.
